Making stylish stances.
Ramadan is a time of deep spiritual reflection & abstinence in the Middle East. During this Islamic equivalent of Lent, the Robinsons Department Store wanted to create a compelling visual that wished our audience in the spirit of the season.

And, they wanted to do this whilst showcasing fashionable offerings as well their iconic botanical motifs in a simple, stylish way.
Keeping this in mind, I collaborated with Haw-lin Services in Berlin and Ernesto Artillo in Madrid to create a visual that paired both these sentiments.
I then accompanied the effort with a simple message that drew a parallel to spiritual reflection and shopping. What resulted was a unique greeting that stood out from the typical, fanoos-festooned aesthetic of the market.

Though simple, the idea proved focused and evocative enough to be deployed across multiple touch points, including advertising, in-mall and collaterals.
